USB flash drive problem

My flash drive is drive E. When I plug it in, and open up drive E from My Computer, it shows the folders on the disk as usual. But if I click a folder it says "please insert disk into drive E."

I have a hunch I'm going to feel very retarded after I find out what the problem is. [img]/images/graemlins/tongue.gif[/img]
