Default SB FFL FYI - playoffs

FYI in all the leagues that I'm "Commish - Not Playing" my team is being projected in the playoffs for some reason (despite my 0-0 record).

I will fix this, but I can only edit the playoff matchups once the playoffs actually start, i.e. on Tuesday the 12th.

I'll post the correct playoff projections for each league here in a bit...

Payout format:
40%/30%/20%/10% structure for the top four if leagues are 10-12 players.
50%/30%/20% if leagues are 8 man.

Playoffs are week 15 and 16. Two rounds. Four teams in the top bracket, next four teams in a bottom bracket playing for pride aka the "Toilet Bowl". If we have 12 teams, i'll try to set up three brackets, not sure if that is supported.

#1 plays #4. #2 plays #3. Winners play each other for first and second. losers play each other for third and fourth.

Tiebreaker is points scored, if records are the same. If the season ended today, here are the correct playoff projections along with some notes on those close behind:

Listings are:
playoff position #, team name, points for, record

SBFFL Hall of Fame EAST
#1 Soprano's Bada Bings 1325.1 9-4
#2 Morphling29 Big Tymer 1377.7 8-5
#3 Performify Fourth Downs Syndrome 1341 8-5-0
#4 Dreaded Dark Knight (Paul Vink-Lainas) 1290.8 8-5

Notes: Very close race. No one has clenched a playoff spot here. Wedding Crashers are right behind in fifth place at 8-5 with 1269.7 points scored and Bull Shade is 6th at 7-6 with 1132.1 points. Wedding Crashers and DDK fighting for the last spot with very close points scored totals. Bull Shade needs losses from at least three of the four 8-5 teams to have a shot, but his points scored pretty much exclude him from winning a tiebreaker. Soprano plays DDK this week in a game with big playoff implications for both teams. If Soprano loses he could get bounced on a tiebreaker if Performify and Morph and Wedding Crashers all win, as his points scored margin isn't significant.

SBFFL Hall of Fame WEST
#1 Utah 1352.5 10-3-0
#2 dank forest creatures 1320.5 8-5-0
#3 Thiesman's Shattered Femur 1247.9 8-5-0
#4 E-A-G-L-E-S... EAGLES! 1189.2 7-6-0

Notes: Utah, Theisman and Dank have clenched spots. Utah is #1 no matter what happens this week, Thiesman and dank have to fight out the next two spots, but both are guaranteed to finish no worse than fourth. Four teams just a game behind EAGLES at 6-7: AJo Go All In with 1257.6 points,
Atomicchaos Homer's Hitmen at 1181.3 points, Punker at 1164 points, bugstud at 1096 points. Any of these five teams (Eagles at 7-6 and the four at 6-7) can make last playoff spot - EAGLES clenches with a win, but if he loses it comes down to tiebreaker with him and whoever wins from the 6-7 crew.

SBFFL Pro Bowl EAST
#1 EP sirio 1320.1 9-4
#2 $240 Worth of Pudding 1379.7 8-5
#3 Gunnarr's Gringos 1364.6 8-5
#4 michw's maladies 1205.1 8-5

Notes: This division is very flat, but these spots are pretty safe. Punker is in fifth at 7-6 but with 1098 points for, so he's going to have real trouble making up ground even if one of these four lose. So mostly just shuffling for who will be first through fourth. Rizen's "Pudding" team has the most points for, but his lead on Gunnar is very slim. Siro obviously clenches the top spot if he wins, but if he loses it becomes up to the tiebreakers.

SBFFL Pro Bowl WEST
#1 KC GrantMastaCash 1535.8 12-1
#2 bugstud 1346.8 8-5
#3 bills217's Pattern Mappers 1215 6-7
#4 Hot Sauce 1182 6-7

Notes: drossxyu ran away with this one, and Bugstud secured spot #2. But the other two spots are up for grabs. Behind Hot Sauce you've got Bishop's Pwns with 1168.2 also at 6-7, and Bull Shade at 1147.2 and lastsamurai at 1137.6 both at 5-8. Spots #3 and #4 will come down to this weeks games and tiebrekaers that are all pretty close.

SBFFL Veteran
#1 fingokra 1306.3 10-3
#2 sirio 1277.6 9-4
#3 Hot Sauce 1359.3 8-5
#4 TexML Saints 1132.7 8-5

Notes: This division is pretty well established. Only one team on the bubble, fittingly its Caldarooni's Bubble Boy sitting in fifth at 7-6 with 1315.1 points. Cald can certainly win a tiebreaker with TexML and possibly even with Hot Sauce if he wins and either of them (or both) lose. Sirio has clenched a spot at worst with his nine wins, but could finish third easily if he loses as he's already behind in points to Hot Sauce.

SBFFL Rookie
#1 MCS Represent 1375.6 11-2
#2 Stinky Cheese 1221.4 8-5
#3 Team fingokra 1171.2 8-5
#4 Taepodong II (OnThe Button) 1183.4 7-6

Notes: Another close fight in the trenches with someone well out front. MCS obviously has first wrapped. Other three spots up for grabs. Waiting in the wings if any of the above slip up are Team Gallagher at 7-6 with 1105.4 points, and two teams at 6-7, the Donkey Rapers at 1149.5 points and McCracken's Hobos at 1118.8 points. This has the best matchups for teams to control their own destiny. The third-place Team fingokra plays the seventh place McCracken's Hobos. #2 Stinky Cheese plays #5 Team Gallagher. There are scenarios where even the 7th place McCraken's Hobos can sneak in. if Stinky Cheese wins, he's at 9-5. Gallagher slips to 7-7. if Taepondong loses, he drops to 7-7. Then if Donkey Rapers lose as well, you've got four teams at 7-7 (Taepondong, Gallagher, Donkey Rapers, McCraken's Hobos) and it comes down to the tiebreaker for that last spot.

Thanks Perf.
(my team is Thiesman in Hof west)
Its a good thing this week was basically meaningless for me, cause my team totally [censored] the bed. At this point I think I'd rather drop down to #4 seed and avoid playing the guy with LT2 in the first roung

Thanks for breaking this out Performify.

Looks like some of the playoff spots are still coming down to tonight's MNF game.

And this is my first fantasy game ever!

It pretty much comes down to the fact that I was lucky enough to get LaDainian Tomlinson in the draft.

I also picked up Philip Rivers as Jake Plummer's backup after Aaron Books got hurt. So clearly expert play by me with the QBs. Maurice Jones-Drew has worked out better than I could have imagined too.

Now watch me lose both playoff games after Tomlinson gets hurt.

Why in god's name did I think that the season was over after week 13

Not that it would have made a difference really.

Looks like I sneak into third with 4 pts from Steven Jackson tonight, I deserve it really, I put my lineup in almost 50% of the time this year which is a record for me

Looks like I will be the 4 seed at 6-8 (lol) unless Hot Sauce gets 55 tonight from Bulger, Holt, and Bears D (which could happen).
