longest time you\'ve spent playing poker?
im just curious about what was the longest streach you've gone at 1 sitting, either live or on-line, playing poker? i hear of all these marathon sessions going on before, just curious about some of yours.
mine was about 2 years ago. i sat down at bellagio 2-5 game at around 8pm on a friday, and other than bathroom breaks and food breaks etc.... i didnt leave that exact table, exact seat, until sunday morning at around 9am! and the only reason i left was because i needed to place a bet on a football game at a differnt casino. so thats what....37 hours? yeah i think i did my math right?? 37 hours straight! it was nuts i was up about 4k at one point. then hours later, had to rebuy. then back up, then down. i dont recommend it. i had to crash for like a day and a half after. and i think i was 1500 in the hole.... now lets hear what ya got..... im pretty sure this is the wrong forum, but i couldnt find a better one...sorry

Go to BBV. I think I've played somewhere around 15 hrs, myself. I was actually nodding off during hands, but the play by other players was so weak that I could just play on auto pilot. They knew I was half asleep so they entered more pots that I was in, despite the fact that being half-asleep caused me to play much tighter... There's some theory for you guys:
Can a visibly impaired player cause his opponents to perceive him as weak to such a great degree that it overcomes his handicap?

Once over 24 hours, maybe 30 max. I remember I sat down at the first table and my fave dealer was there, I knew it was time to go when he returned to the table later in my session....the next day.

about 60ish hours at 3/6 limit live. i was at baronas near san diego and it was right around the time moneymaker just won the wsop me. poker was the big thing and no one knew any better and everyone wanted to play anyways.
i sucked but ended up walking away with 1.5k or so. i wouldve been up waaaaaaaayyyyyy more but i sucked at nl and would spew at the overnight nl games because all the limit games died down and had only 2 tables running instead of 18.

Bout 7-8 hrs when I first started out. I was so excited at playing "cash games" at 10NL that I couldn't sleep.
