-1500 in Vegas blackjack

So I had 4k on me in vegas, most of my roll. I lost a little bit playing poker so I was at 3900. I went to the BJ table and put 100 on and lost. I doubled and lost. I doubled and lost. So now I bet 800, get a 6 and a 3 against a dealer 4. I hit to 15 and stay. Dealer has 14 and pulls a 5.

Edit: I had 6 3 for 9 when I hit

im pretty sure 9 vs. 4 is a double down. you have to play basic strategy.
