a hand i played badly
I think I screwed up this hand somewhere on a later street, but what would others do?
I have only played with CO for maybe 5-10 hands, so far he's seemed a loose fishy type, but that's a very rough read. BB, on the other hand, is a lag at 51/23/1.3 over ~150 hands. 5 handed game (normally 6max table). Hero is in the SB with 8 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 9 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]. UTG folds, CO calls, Btn folds, Hero completes, BB raises, call, call. Flop: T [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] J [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] Q [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] Hero checks, BB bets, CO calls, Hero raises, BB 3bets, CO calls, Hero calls. Turn: 6 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]. Hero checks, BB bets, CO calls.... Somewhere along the line I need another raise, or do I? BB is a lag, but he raised two limpers from the BB and loves the flop, is AK enough of a threat to be cautious, or does the (probable) tourist give me enough equity to raise? |

Re: a hand i played badly
cap flop and lead turn and call down to a turn raise. Your equity is huge on flop.

Re: a hand i played badly
He is prolly playing TT, JJ, QQ, KK, AA, AQ and KQ the same way so I think you have enough eq to make another raise as the pot is 3-ways.
I like doing it on a brick turn when the fish stays in the pot. If the board paired or if an A, K or 9 turned your eq looks crappy so I would prefer to call flop 3-bet and see what happens. Cliff notes: c/r turn. |

Re: a hand i played badly
with the range oink gives (+AK) villain has more equity than I thought he would
board: TsJdQd ...........equity Hand 0: 52.677% { 9s8h } Hand 1: 47.323% { TT+, AQs+, KQs, AQo+, KQo } but if the turn bricks off, board: Ts Jd Qd 2h ............equity Hand 0: 63.040% { 9s8h } Hand 1: 36.960% { TT+, AQs+, KQs, AQo+, KQo } if the turn pairs the board, board: Ts Jd Qd Jh ...........equity Hand 0: 47.843% { 9s8h } Hand 1: 52.157% { TT+, AQs+, KQs, AQo+, KQo } if the turn is a K, board: Ts Jd Qd Kh ...........equity Hand 0: 28.474% { 9s8h } Hand 1: 71.526% { TT+, AQs+, KQs, AQo+, KQo } if the turn is an A, board: Ts Jd Qd Ah ...........equity Hand 0: 34.225% { 9s8h } Hand 1: 65.775% { TT+, AQs+, KQs, AQo+, KQo } |

note that those numbers don't take into account the other guy
jamming the flop can't be wrong with the other guy in there |

[ QUOTE ]
note that those numbers don't take into account the other guy jamming the flop can't be wrong with the other guy in there [/ QUOTE ] exactly my thought, we have at least 50% and it's threehanded and theere is a small risk that villain has an oesd and will check a brick turn, therefore I like to jam flop and lead turn. |

Re: a hand i played badly
I fold this pre-flop in this situation.
I would just cap the flop with the other guy trapped in there. While it's unlikely this guy would check behind on the turn, I don't want to see that happen either so I lead out. |
