Default A Prairie Home Companion

I am stoked to see this flick. Who's with me? I grew up in kind of a hippie household so we always listened to the show. The movie looks like it should be a winner.

Garrison Keillor - awesome.

Robert Altman - awesome.

Woody Harrelson - good

Tommy Lee Jones - very good.

Kevin Kline - awesome.

Lindsay Lohan - awesome (of course).

Virginia Madsen - good.

Meryl Streep - very good.

Lily Tomlin - oldy but a goody.

Hard to see how this flick could miss.

I am also stoked.

I also grew up listening to it.

The episode of The Wire where the drug runner accidentally listens to the news from Lake Wobegon is fantastic.

Yeah, I just heard about this movie today. I'm not so sure this is a good idea, but I'm definitely up for watching it and will add my 2 cents to the review thread for it.

Grew up listening to it (my family is DEEP in public radio).

Actually kinda tired on it. Just not my thing (I like radio for the news, which is what my father/grandfather did, not the folks stuff like this.

That said, the movie sounds interesting.

Scrub is right on The Wire. That whole bit is just fantastic.

I totally agree, and yet I fail to see how this can possibly be an interesting movie. But I guess that's true of most Altman movies and they work out pretty well.

Boris,

The movie will be very good. The fact that you rate LLohan as awesome (of course) and Merly Streep as very good makes me question your acting intelligence.

This morning Bob Edwards interviewed Robert Altman and he basically siad that any director that actuallytried to direct Meryl Streep was an idiot. Meryl Streep is blessed with awesomeness.
