Default NL10 - QQ Bad spot to get it in?

Party Poker, $0.05/$0.10 NL Hold'em Cash Game, 9 Players
LeggoPoker Hand History Converter

UTG: $6.79
UTG+1: $10
UTG+2: $13.35
MP1: $1
MP2: $10
CO: $15.37
Hero (BTN): $16.92
SB: $7.70
BB: $1.70

Pre-Flop: Q[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] Q[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] dealt to Hero (BTN)
UTG calls $0.10, 5 folds, <font color="red">Hero raises to $0.55</font>, SB calls $0.50, BB folds, UTG calls $0.45

Flop: ($1.75) 9[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 7[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 2[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (3 Players)
SB checks, <font color="red">UTG bets $0.50</font>, <font color="red">Hero raises to $1.75</font>, SB folds, <font color="red">UTG raises to $3</font>, <font color="red">Hero raises to $16.37 and is All-In</font>, UTG calls $3.24 and is All-In

Obviously I suspect set and he has a smaller stack...But what if he had 100bb?
Im trying NOT to be the guy who calls then is lost on the turn etc etc, so rather then folding these or calling Im starting to go more aggresssive... Figure I can get a LITTLE fold equity with these types of hand/boards.
If the guy had 100bb should I have played it differently? How was the line I took against the 3/4 stack?

Meh, I play it the same way. Also, I don't think you EVER fold out a better hand, you are putting action in here because we are going to get value from worse hands, not because we want to fold out better hands.

What I was getting at is I would play 1010 and JJ and maybe a couple other hands similar to this, alot of times I can get QQ or, believe it or not, KK to fold. Maybe this was a bad example for the point lol
