Default Post your Pokerstars satellite ideas, suggestions, comments

Post what you want, what you don't like, or your idea for a new satellite for the Sunday Million, Nightly, WSOP, or WPT sats.

List your wishes or ideas starting with your most important one.

If you see someone post something you like, quote it and agree with it, so people can see that it is wanted.

1. Add some $39 turbo and $39 turbo rebuys into the Sunday Million. Keep the starting stack at $1500 in the rebuy. These non turbos average about 30 players during the day and take about two hours.

2. Add satellites into the $39 satellites. This will get more players and make them fishy. $4.40 turbo rebuys would be good.

Those are my main wishes.

Here are a couple suggestions.

1. Run a lot more $4.40 turbo rebuys and $6 turbo into the $55 super satellite, because the $55 is now running daily and there is still only two $4.40's and two $6 turbos in a day.

2.Run the $55 super satellite twice a day instead of once, so the European players have a chance to play it.

Mods, if this is the wrong place, please transfer it instead of deleting it. Thanks.

Also agreed on this, I can't even play in the $55s as it starts at 4am for me.

Bring back the 64 max person DS's to the Sunday Million, these 100 max ones are a joke, barely getting 60 people and playing 5 handed in the first round is retarded only to get a shot at two seats, at least the majority of the 64's were full and everyone advancing to the final round got paid.

How about a 1-table STEPS program into the Sunday Million?

Step1: $5
1st-2nd advance to step2
3rd-4th repeat step1
5th-9th OUT

Step2: $15
1st-2nd advance to step3
3rd-4th repeat step2
5th-9th OUT

Step3: $45
1st- Sunday Million ticket
2nd-4th repeat step3
5th repeat step2
6th-9th OUT

Holla.

[/ QUOTE ]Very nice idea. These would be perfect if they were turbo.

I don't think they would do this unless they add real sit and go steps, and it's being asked for on another site. But they might want to test the steps by having these.

Big thread about Stars getting Steps on P5s

http://www.pocketfives.com/D032AAEC-...E6827E743.aspx

Really long thread with two key posts by stars support:

"No customer suggestion sent to PokerStars ends up in "File 86." We take player feedback very seriously and whenever practical we act upon it. We database all suggestion emails sent to PokerStars and use this information to help us set priorities. The desire for step SNGs has been noted, and the idea is being considered. I can't promise anything beyond that, but always know that PokerStars is listening.

Regards,
Mike Jones
PokerStars Poker Room Management Team"

And also:

"Hello XXXXX,
We are considering the implementation of step SNGs, but I can't make
you
any promises. Also, even if we do decide to implement steps, they
require
a significant change to the way our tournament software works which
means
that this isn't something we can just decide to do and then roll it out
the next day.

I hope it's always been clear that PokerStars takes player feedback
very
seriously, and that we are always improving. Some things take time
though, and this is one of those things

Regards,
Mike Jones

My usual request:

Satellites to non-Hold'em WSOP events.

Stars has said in the past that they they want to focus all their efforts on getting people into on the Main Event, and other televised events. I acknowledge this as a reasonable position. But, as a customer, I'd prefer they cater to my interests, which are entering the Stud/8, Triple Draw, or HORSE events.

The only reason I have money on Full Tilt right now is to play "bracelet race" HORSE and Razz tournaments. (Maybe some PLO if I'm feeling lucky.) Otherwise I'd be paying those tournament entry fees on Stars.
