NL 50 - Flopped straight against super-short stacked nit
Villain is 12/1/1.4 in 200 hands and is a super-nit. Call on the river standard?

Re: NL 50 - Flopped straight against super-short stacked nit
I think this is played OK.
I guess you could check/call river since villain isn't scared of turn card knowing you could have anything in the BB. C/C normal river bet is probably the best play, but while you are in this hand, it must be really tough to think you are beaten. As played, I'd have to call this river, but I would be very angry at myself and not surprised if villain showed up with a better hand. |
