villain is a tag and I have already raised his sb-open last orbit (he folded).
my image is tag, I have not done much because of a big fish at the table, was just waiting for a hand to bust him.

thats not my standard line obv. but I would also take it with very good hands.

this is much worse than just betting the flop. for the same price you could bet the flop and the turn and be much more believable. and why would you play very good hands this way? because it looks like you're FOS? so why bluff here...

(ps. this is not a good line for strong hands either )

I usually regret not betting the flop when I do this. At the same time though, in OP's defense, when you're playing with a very aggressive player who expects you to bet the flop (esp. one like that), this can be a stronger play.

Often times you'll bet the flop and get called, and then be in a crappy spot in case he's decided to call down or checkraise (or lead the turn). On the other hand, if you let him take a stab at the pot first and you raise him, it shows much more strength. This is only against a specific kind of villain though.

Not a good line to take with anything really. Big hands you should just bet the flop and try to build a pot, air you should bet and try to fold out better hands, etc.

Even if you would take that line with a set, nobody is going to believe that you would so it doesn't matter.

And when he bets the turn he is pretty likely to have something that he doesn't want to fold.

because I was pretty sure that he would autobet the turn w/ anything. Why would that be a bad line if you think that it is an obvious bluff?
