$16 - AK getting tricky
Normally I always raise here, but I was thinking he would fold all hands I beat and get value out by doing so.
What about just completing in the hope he will pay me with TPMK? PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em Tourney, Big Blind is t20 (9 handed) by Hand Converter CG UTG+1 (t1480) MP1 (t1630) MP2 (t1470) MP3 (t1470) CO (t1500) Button (t1460) Hero (t1480) BB (t1500) UTG (t1510) Preflop: Hero is SB with K[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], A[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]. 7 folds, Hero completes? |

Re: $16 - AK getting tricky
I would rather raise pre to build a pot with a premium hand. By limping I think you're setting yourself up to win a relatively small pot. Also if the flop comes K63 and villain flops bottom 2 you're going to find it difficult to control the pot and get away from the hand. I think limping would be kinda FPS here.

Raise, always.
Lots of villains will stack off in raised pots with TPNK. |

Raise, always. Lots of villains will stack off in raised pots with TPNK. [/ QUOTE ] pretty much. You aren't worried about getting value out of J7, you are worried about building a pot with AT or KJ so you can get it all in when you both hit TP |
