100NL - Calling resteal 3bets with monsters = ship the variance?

But more +EV than 4betting?

Villain is a TAG reg who 3bets from the blinds vs. other TAGs a bit too wide. But just a bit. Villain will go broke on many flops (like TPNK or flush draw + overcards etc). However he folds all but AK and QQ+ to 4bets. Is it better to 4bet or call PF?

What do you 4bet if there is not recent history between Hero and Villain?

i would generally 4 bet if there is any history of light 3/4 betting or major aggression between villain and I. Also, if its an obvious spot where i can be 4 betting light, like blind vs blind, and button vs blind.

really you cant go too wrong doing either one, but it is good to mix up your play depending on the situation.

I think it might be close, if he really always gets it in pf with AK (and also QQ), cause you wont get all in vs. AK on the flop too often.

Ok lets say that he does not always get it in PF with AK nor QQ but sometimes if he has been butt [censored] on other tables he might get it in with JJ and AQs without recent history with Hero. Does that change things or am I just walking in circles here?

Just calling here is fine, you can even make a point for just calling the flop. He only has 2 outs max.

Well played. If he has a wide 3betting range he can have many more than 2 outs and you're obviously ahead most of the time.
