Okay this was a funny hand. I actually thought I had AT that I had in another table so the flop call was half accidental. His preflop minraise looks like a pocket pair or weak ace, I don't have too much history on him. So. After he calls my turn bet - I think he has either a weak ace or a flushdraw. Riverbet seriously looks like a blocking bet or a poor bluff. My read on the guy isn't overly strong by any means, but this play does fold out weak aces etc. in a vast majority of cases, right?

What do you think? Good or spew?

the riverbet could be a blocking bet but it depends on your reads... if he´s a real donk he might do it with just about anything!

Isn't the whole point of blocking bet to get value from worse hands and fold to better hands when they raise? Or do you think he's incapable of blocking and is just clueless? Or do you mean I shouldn't do this until I'm 100% certain he does use blockers?

I've seen soo many people at this level make a block-type bet and then call a big raise with like second pair or some [censored]. This is spew imo, he won't fold Ax often enough.

He's not folding ANY decent made hand while getting 3:1 and trying to get anyone to do that is pointless as well as very costly.
