I usually check/call in these spots. Betting folds out most worse hands, let him fire away if he has a float and you're ahead. Check/raising may get him to fold a better ace sometimes but I guess most aces in his range he'd check behind on the turn.

Yeah I like c/r here. It's extremely difficult for him to have better than one pair here, and he'll probably fold AQ/AJ to a c/r if you have a solid image, whereas he'll probably call you down if you just keep firing.

i check raised him and ran into QJ but spiked my club on the river [img]/images/graemlins/laugh.gif[/img]
