Re: 12 players left in $10 rebuy, whiffed straight draw, and 3rd pair
Do you really think you're going to get two people out on the river by repping a heart draw that hit? Also, it seems like a heart draw is fairly likely for at least one of your opponents. Seems like a c/f to me there.
As for a flop c/r, it has to be a c/r push, and in a $11r I think you're getting called by heart draws and pretty much any king. You'll be down to 6-8 outs always. However, you're probably going to get PPs < kings to fold, though, and you'll probably get a midpair out. Nobody's really shown any sort of strength here, and there's a huge amount of money in the pot you could win without a showdown. A flop c/r is probably something I'd do here, then immediately regret it (in that results-oriented way) when someone instacalls with Th9h. |

Re: 12 players left in $10 rebuy, whiffed straight draw, and 3rd pair
This is the final table table bubble, and the play is pretty tight. This is not typical $10 rebuy wild play. So I wouldn't assume a checkraise allin on the flop gets loose calls. However, that doesn't mean it's a good play.

I think making the bet I did was better than folding, although it seemed a little like chip spewing. I am not sure if a larger bet would have been better. Of course, I probably can't push, as it is too likely someone has a flush. |
