Re: drawin hand in a not drawin situation
I'd raise PF. Bet the turn. Only question to me is whether to valuebet a blank river. If it's 3 way or only UTG+1 calls I say go for it. If it's HU against UTG it seems close.

Re: drawin hand in a not drawin situation
I would bet the turn out of habit and confusion. Below are some fleshed out reasons which might be worth scrutinizing.
- Both checked to me. On this board they should be more inclined to do that with less than a pair of jacks than more, and at least one plays loose, so JT being best is possible. - Taking the A[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] out of their hands permits fewer flushes. - As Guruman pointed out, this is not a drawing situation. Even if my equity on the turn is not strong, I'm sacrificing more by letting another card roll off. - Betting leads to easier river play, particularly if I cull the field. - Betting leads to a comfortable fold if checkraised. - By checking I invite a worse situation against the same opponents. - Even if the turn bet is marginal to poor, it likely amounts to my river donation after a check. - The ability to place a bet here is why we like having the button. [ QUOTE ] Turn: A[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (6.67BB, 3 players) UTG checks, UTG+1 checks, Guruman bets, UTG folds, UTG+1 calls. Re: drawin hand in a not drawin situation
I probably wouldn't open up the betting again on the drawy flop with only one person left to act, two already in and position.

Re: drawin hand in a not drawin situation
I would bet the turn and check behind the river UI. I expect that we're behind on the turn but if we have the best hand we need to protect it.
Given the 40/20 guy his flop action I don't think we can value-bet a blank river. |
