Default Overpair in a multi way flop....

Villain is a 19/14; Tagish player
I'm always a little hesitant to get it all-in with an overpair when more than one person saw the flop.

Party Poker, $0.50/$1 NL Hold'em Cash Game, 5 Players
LeggoPoker Hand History Converter

BTN: $174.01
SB: $112.46
BB: $107.61
Hero (UTG): $105.53
CO: $82.83

Pre-Flop: K[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] K[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] dealt to Hero (UTG)
Hero raises to $4, CO calls $4, 2 folds, BB calls $3

Flop: ($12.50) 8[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 7[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 5[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (3 Players)
BB bets $10, Hero calls $10, CO folds

Turn: ($32.50) 5[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (2 Players)
BB bets $14, Hero?????
Any complaints about my flop flat call? Is raise/call standard here?

stats on CO? Flop is 50/50 for me in a 3-way pot and depends on better reads and table image.

Turn is a good card for us because it takes 55 out of his range and we now are ahead of 78. Pair + straight draw is a large part of his range as well.

As played, I just call turn because I cant see a decent player calling a raise with 78/89...he'll prob call with 67 though. He will shove sets/56. So yeah, I think he is either shoving better or folding everything else.

CO was a 30/6 type of player. so he is coming along often, should this make a flop raise more desirable?

yeah thats what I was thinking. I cant see him coming over the top here with a hand that u beat and he would have hard tiem folding anything to the min raise. It would suck if he min 3bets though ):

[/ QUOTE ]is villain good? I would think a good villain would want to trap the donks money by letting us c-bet, the donk call, and then villain c/raises with a set/straight. If he leads and we raise, donk will almost never call...also, if he leads and we just call the donk will call with a much wider range, inflating the pot and making scare cards even scarier. I think this would make me more inclined to raise/get it in on the flop...again, if you think villain is good/thinking (my thought process might be way off though?)

On the turn, it really looks like he's *trying* to rep a combo draw, and since our hand is pretty defined (this might be another reason to raise flop) as an OP I think I just call.

I dunno, just thinking out loud.
