Trivia War I - The Bludgeoning
The following are 10 Impossible Questions (that is, there is no source given; a la radio station quizzes). To enter the game, all you have to do is pm me your answers (no using any resources whatsoever) by 4pm Wednesday. This will make u /in the game.
On Wednesday, I will post the list of players who are in the game, but not the correct answers. You will then have until Friday at 10am to pm me your moves that will determine the winner. What moves are these, you ask? Well, on 3 questions you get to ally with another player. on 3 questions you get to snub another on 3 questions you get to be neutral to all players on 1 question you get to NUKE other players How do these moves affect the scoring? Ally: <ul type="square">[*]If player you ally with and you are both correct, u each get 10 points[*]If only one of u and ally is correct, correct player gets 10 while incorrect still gets 5 points[*]If you are both wrong, u both get 0 points[*]If your ally allies with someone else, then that creates a chain of people, where all correct people get 10, all incorrect get 5, and 0 for all if all are incorrect[*]If your ally snubs u, then that breaks the alliance and u are not scored as if u had an alliance or a snubbing
Snub: <ul type="square">[*]If you snub a player and only you are right, u get 10 points[*]If you snub a player and u both are right or both wrong, u get 0[*]If you snub a player and only they are right, u lose 10 points
Neutral: <ul type="square">[*]Neutral overrides anything else regarding you (ally/snub/nuke)[*]Correct answer gets you 40[*]Incorrect get you 0
Nuke: <ul type="square">[*]This affects everyone who is allying/snubbing you[*]If you are right, then you and people who allied with you double your scores![*]If you are right, then anyone who snubbed you will lose 1/2 their score if they are wrong, or 0 points if they are right[*]If you are wrong, u lose 1/2 your score. Allies score 0 and anyone who snubbed u and is right doubles their scores, while incorrect snubbers score 0
I think I will allow in-thread talk of strategies with regards to who to snub/nuke/ally with, etc up until deadline No discussing the questions or which answers are possibly right Any questions? |
