Default heads up PP query

I remember reading in Harrington's book that heads up you will both be dealt pocket pairs one in 300 hands. Since I read that I've played them much more aggressively, but I seem to run pair into pair a lot higher than this frequency.

Can one of you poker math dudes confirm or deny Harrington's numbers? ty.

Here is the problem that maybe wasn't explained in the book .

When you do get dealt a pocket pair , this means there is a 73/1225 = 5.95% chance that your opponent will get a pocket pair which will happen once every 15.8 times on average .

On the other hand , if someone were interested in the probability that you and your opponent each receive a pocket pair , then the answer is :

78/1326*73/1225 = 0.00350 which is about 3.5 times in 1000 deals or equivalently once every 285.7 deals .

The former answers the probability that your opponent will have a pocket pair when YOU have a pocket pair . The latter answers the question that both players receive pocket pairs before anyone sees their cards .
