Default Full Tilt 10/20, raising to see where I\'m at?

Villan is 24/19/4 and a regular in the 5/10 and 10/20 games. He probably has stats on me as about 21/16/3.5 but this particular session I was playing 23/18/3.5. I had been 3-betting him preflop a lot, and generally just raising it up all over the place. However, post-flop we haven't done much.

Full Tilt Poker - No Limit Hold'em Cash Game - $10/$20 Blinds - 5 Players - (LegoPoker HH Converter)

SB: $3,115.00
BB: $2,100.00
Hero (UTG): $2,420.00
CO: $1,415.00
BTN: $1,970.00

Preflop: Hero is dealt 7[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 7[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (5 Players)
Hero raises to $70.00, 2 folds, SB raises to $230.00, BB folds, Hero calls $160.00

Flop: ($480) 5[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 4[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] T[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (2 Players)
SB bets $380.00, Hero raises to $900.00

I felt his range was pretty wide here and he would fold pair of tens w/ weak kicker and less if that's what he had. I thought AJ, AQ and AK were the most likely and that's why I raised to see where I stood. I felt calling was too weak and he would shove the turn with any of those hands so I should either just raise or fold on the flop.

How does my thought process sound?

What do you plan on doing if he shoves. If your answer is fold, then this play is miserable. if not, it could be ok

maybe go allin to see where youre at for sure. He can still bluff you if you only raise part your stack.

~$1000 more into a ~$3000 pot would not be a very good bluff imo and I don't think he'd do that
