Does the majority like to 3bet this? Flop: Diamonds aren't folding for 2bets. Personally, I see no point in jamming this w/ low-lock/wrap draw. Agree/disagree? Turn: Im not a fan of my raise here as I'm likely getting 1/4ed. Though I am locking any low riv and could break even if high straight jams into a diamond draw. Like/Hate turn raise? Riv: Standard 3Betting preflop most-likely would've given me 3/4, but is it results-oriented? |

Gobias - Nothing unusual.
You got quartered with the nut low. In a nine handed game it happens roughly two times out of five when you make the nut low with ace-deuce. Standard. And your bottom end straight lost. Also standard. A234 is the best possible starting hand for low but it's damn sure not the best possible starting hand for high. Re: Interesting LO8 Hand that I think is open to discussion
preflop: call. you want players
flop: jam. backdoor flush with wrap. you say diamonds won't fold so stick it in. turn: call two. very strong action, you're beat for high and likely chopping low. river: if checked to bet. if it goes bet, call, then call. if it goes, check, bet, then raise since UTG can have some BS hand and you say he sucks. |

Re: Interesting LO8 Hand that I think is open to discussion
I'm trying to 'buzz' this one by responding without reading the other responses.
Preflop Seems pretty standard to me, in that you were the second in the pot, and with that hand you want as many folks in the hand preflop as possible. A 3 bet might put you heads up, and what do you gain there? Flop: I also see no point in jamming without a made hand. I'm probably wrong. Turn: Nut low and the butt-end of a straight? Pump it up! River: Standard Edit: I defer to anybody elses opinion on limit. And a hand converter would be helpful indeed. |
