If you bet you need to bet villian allin. A4xx is extremely unlikely plus you may fold the occasional two pair. I'm surprised that you didnt fire at pot on flop, since you were the button.

I can't tell if this would be for value or a bluff so I check.

If I would bluff the turn like you did I would probably bluff the river also.
He has 55 at best and is hard pressed to call and you have two fours as blockers.
Altho its a bit retarted because he has only 12$ left. So why raise turn in the first place?

Well, just calling the turn seems dumb to me. Folding may be better than raising, but calling has got to be the worst.

I didn't c-bet the flop because my image was not good. I decided the pot size raise the turn, because I thought I would take it down. At the time, I was pretty sure villian had some type of draw or was on a steal, so I felt like the EP callers would fold, leaving villian to a decision for his stack, I couldn't imagine he would just call with only $12 left and the pot being large. When he called and checked the river, I started to doubt my read...

And then I found myself asking what value does betting this river have, does he fold two pair? Hence I post this bold, daring and retarded hand on 2+2

Fire away at least $5 on the flop. I think a cbet is a must on this board especially since you have position. The draws will of course call, and a set would repop you making for an easy fold. If you're gonna reraise CO's bet on turn I don't understand why you wouldn't bet flop. Cbet flop gets you more info early on and saves money on the more expensive streets.

Results is I checked, Villian had a busted str8 draw + busted club draw. My guess is he was hoping to c/r on the flop.
