Default Full Tilt\'s latest reply which is simply appauling

This gets worse. It gets MUCH WORSE. $tinger88 received a reply from Full Tilt. With his permission, I am posting it.

Hello Brian,

Thank you for your email to Full Tilt Poker.

We have completed an exhaustive investigation into this transfer and
regret to inform you that we are unable to retrieve any of the funds
that were ill-transferred from your player account to player
EddieFelsonn.

During the course of the first hour after the funds were transferred,
player EddieFelsonn played a few table games where he proceeded to lose
about $6800 in various heads up sng's and table games. We examined the
play and found it to be clean. Since the play is clean and there is no
malicious involvement from the other players, these funds cannot be
retrieved.

After the first hour, player EddieFelsonn then proceeded to make a large
transfer for the amount of $17,000 to what was clearly an associate.
This associate proceeded then to offer other high stakes players a deal
if the other players would transfer funds to him via Neteller if the
associate was willing to P2P the funds to the high stakes players first.
Our chat logs revealed that there was one transfer for $6000 made by the
associate to a high stakes player in return for $5000 transferred to the
associates Neteller account. It is indeed a great deal and and given
that the associate made the transfer first via P2P, I can only assume
the other high stakes players honored the agreement and sent the funds
via Neteller.

The remaining $1200 was made to another player's account who was also
deemed clean and had no involvement with this particular scam.

Our general policy is that we do no reverse P2P transfers once they are
made, but do note that given your position as one of our most reputable
players that we would have made an exception here had we been able to do
so. However, given the circumstances I am terribly sorry that I am not
able to help you.

My suggestion to you and other players is to be careful when you make
such transfers. Your profiles as high stakes poker players make you
subjected targets for thieves and opportunists. Perhaps a confirmation
on the phone with the other party to ensure the validity of such
transfers in the future would help negate such an occurrence from
happening again.

If you have any other questions, please feel free to let me know.
Again, I am sorry that there is nothing I can do for you here.

Regards,

Larry

What this says to me is that if I emailed FT right now and asked them the names of the players the $ was transferred to so I could find out what neteller account the $ was transferred to. They would tell me that they could not disclose those accounts to protect the privacy of their players. They basically are protecting the hacker and his associates. This is a pretty damning reply from FT. Not only is all this information not revealed to me in any of the 12 emails I ask that of them, it's emailed to a bystander who did the transfer. We are now approaching 3 days and I have yet to be able to talk to anyone on the phone from FT, anyone who is someone at FT or anyone who isn't just writing back at their convienence to emails. If I were to call the NY Times, the LA Times or the Wall St Journal I bet they would salivate at picking up such a story. I really don't know what to do when the site we play on is not doing their duty to protect players. What they should do is freeze all accounts involved as we are dealing with illegal fund transfers and find out from the player who was sent $6,000 to email FT back the Neteller # of which he transferred 5k. That Neteller account is obviously affiliated with the hacker. I am only one person, but with the help of you people maybe something can be done. I don't know what the next step to take is, but I ask for your help.

Thank you for your time,
Jared

As much as I hate the way FTP treats Skipolo on this matter I think this one is a good policy.
Retracking the transfers without other party approval would open the possibility of other scams.

Skip,

"there was one transfer for $6000 made by the associate to a high stakes player in return for $5000 transferred to the associates Neteller account. It is indeed a great deal"

Wow, WTF FT.

That's the most sickening thing. I really wish more reputable high stakes guys would appear and reply in these threads.

I'm saying it is lame that they're willing to break their own strict rules for Stinger because he generates tons of rake for them. That's BS.

I think it's also partially because lots of railbirds watch my games (even if they have a combined IQ of 46). Either way it does seem a bit shady, although they didn't actually do this, and who knows if they would have given a clear chance.

Who cares what the reason is, you shouldn't receive a special set of rules, that's ridiculous. They're willing to let you reverse a transfer because you generate rake and railbirds, but Skipolo can't when his account has clearly been hacked into for over $25,000? That's [censored].

And regardless of whether or not they would've gone through with it, they said they would, that's bad enough.
