Default TT on a paired board

Villain is 18/7/6 over 100 hands. Can be very aggressive

Full Tilt Poker - No Limit Hold'em Cash Game - $0.05/$0.10 Blinds - 5 Players - (LegoPoker Hand History Converter)

SB: $10.05
BB: $10.00
Hero (UTG): $16.40
CO: $8.00
BTN: $18.10

Preflop: Hero is dealt T[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] T[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (5 Players)
Hero raises to $0.35, CO folds, BTN calls $0.35, 2 folds

Flop: ($0.85) 4[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 7[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 8[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (2 Players)
Hero bets $0.50, BTN calls $0.50

Turn: ($1.85) 7[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (2 Players)
Hero bets $0.80, BTN raises to $1.60, Hero calls $0.80

River: ($5.05) 2[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (2 Players)
Hero checks, BTN bets $3.00, Hero ?

Looking back I know my river check shows weakness after calling a min reraise on turn.
Should i be calling this? shoving or even folding? Im really confused about villains possible range.

Villain's flop call, turn ambush-minraise sequence represents a monster, but on the bright side his stats suggest he knows this, and also lots of players can't resist representing trips when the board pairs.

Versus someone as aggressive as Villain, I pay off on the river and don't worry about it. I think it's quite possible he has a worse PP or, perhaps, a hand like 98s or A8s. (And, by the way, I think your river check is fine.)

Call river. Turn bet should be a bit more but if you bet low to get him to raise then well played. I think inducing raises on scare cards that opponent probably does not have is a good play. Ignoring that, bet more on flop. You should never do anything other than check river IMO once you called his raise. Not much value in betting and you are begging to be pushed over.
