Default trying to bluff a stoner

Live game, 1/2

Villian is clearly high. His eyes are puffy red, he has no clue what is going on at the table. I have a pristine read on him.

The following hand occurred:

Im kinda shortstacked, around $80 left. Villian recently won a big pot when his aces held up against an AK top pair, and was clearly feeling bulletproof.

There is an MP raiser, whom i also have a pristine read on, villian calls, and i call with KQo on the button.

The flop comes 882, two hearts. I can tell by his body language MP will fold. Villian bets out $12, and my read tells me he has complete air. I float, MP folds like i knew he would.

Turn is a 3rd 8. Villian checks, because he has air, i bet out $25, villian puts me all in.

I obviously fold, and sure enough he turns over A6 offsuit.

Was this pure spewage, or should I be trusting my reads? I was right in every stage of the hand, and I feel like if villian wasnt stoned/a retard he would have folded.

i didn't read the hand, but your edge against this guy isn't bluffs, its valuing your hand properly.

Agreed. FWIW, I like stoner's turn play.
