Only villain's 2nd orbit at table, no reads. On the turn I figure I'm priced in to draw to the boat even if I'm beat. Anyone just shove the turn? My limited experience with turn min-raises has generally been that it usually means a big hand trying not to lose anyone. Is the river a standard fold with the 4-straight? What if the river is a blank and villain shoves? |

standard fold on river. If river were a blank I probably call cause it's 5nl.

Re: 5NL: set faces river shove on 4-straight board
The river Q is pretty meaningless. He wasn't raising you on a gutshot and he didn't limp with AK. If you called the turn I would generally call a 2/3 pot sized bet on the river especially after you checked with 2 spades on the board.
That said, I'm sticking it in on the turn when I have 10 outs against any made straight and there are a ton of 2 pair hands and draws that would raise me. |

Shove turn. This is easily two pair also. Plus like stan said you have outs to the full house.
As played I hate myself for not shoving turn and call. You only have to be good here a little less than 30% of the time to break even. |
