Default 50NL: 2 3 bet or not 2 3 bet

I've taken to 3 betting a good deal more and I'm seeing some very good results from it. Is this hand a step too far, or an ideal squeeze for my hand?

Poker Room skin
No Limit Holdem Ring game
Blinds: $0.25/$0.50
10 players
Converter

Stack sizes:
UTG: $49.75
UTG+1: $50.00
UTG+2: $49.25
MP1: $57.00
MP2: $52.95
MP3: $25.75
CO: $36.55
Button: $51.40
Hero: $49.90
BB: $130.15

Pre-flop: (10 players) Hero is SB with K[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] A[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]

UTG raises to $2, 2 folds, MP1 calls, MP2 folds, MP3 calls, 2 folds,

Hero 3bets to (say) $12?

UTG is a tight regular, 12 / 6, positionally aware. He has around 1500+ hands on me and knows that I have been stepping up my 3 bets a lot recently. He would maybe expect my 3bet range to be TT+ AQs+, something like that. His calling / raising range is probably JJ+, AK+. The others are unknowns.

My reasons for maybe NOT 3 betting are:

1. This REALLY looks like a squeeze, so UTG may call even lighter than that.

3. I am OOP for the rest of the hand.

Thoughts?

It doesn't look like a squeeze IMO. From my understanding, a squeeze is done when you think original raiser is loose and other people called since they also knew has was loose. Here, we have a 12/6 raising from UTG, and we'll be OOP for the rest of the hand. If his calling and raising ranges are the same, you're behind either way and OOP to boot. I usually can't find a fold here, but in these circumstances, I'd lay it down.

i never 3 bet from this spot anymore. 12/6's who raise from utg either have the same hand or have you beat pretty badly. i think i just fold this pf.

I'd like to add that reason 1 actually argues for 3betting here...not against it. The more hands he calls with, the better (as the range gets weighted towards hands that you tie with, instead of hands that have you crushed).

Fold. His range UTG crushes you plus your OOP and if you hit TP he's unlikely to pay you off.

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! Better raise than cold-call. YOU are OOP!

EDIT: I would fold preflop.

I never fold here. I 3bet some and call some. Regulars expect me to 3bet AK pretty much all the time in my experience so I'm able to get value from worse hands. Even if an ace comes you should be able to get some money out of the other callers a decent amount of the time even if the prf just c/f.
