Yea if he has KK, QQ or 88 god bless him. This is most likely ak, j10 or maybe even kq. KK and QQ will usually 3 bet PF.

you gotta call. you can't 3 bet this flop if you are even thinking of folding to a shove. otherwise you're turning top 2 into a bluff basically, one that's never folding out any better hands.

on such a dry flop and given he flatted pre , which makes AK and AA a lot less likely, I think i'd rather flat his raise and then c/r a non ace turn.

I agree with not 3 betting the flop (But once you have there is no turning back). You are losing value from people with hands like KJ,AQ who on a brick turn might commit themselves when we check. If we are behind we are most likely staying behind so we don't need to rush the money in. The only danger is giving a free card to j10 if we call the flop and check a brick turn with the intention of check-jamming.

how are you questioning if you should call his shove? did you really not have a plan for what to do against a shove when you 3bet? do you think he is ever smooth calling your 3-bet? What was your plan if he had smooth called?

What was the purpose of your 3-bet? What did you think his raising range was? Of those hands which did you think he would shove, call, or fold to your 3 bet?...

oh, and call obv.

with top 2 if the turn bricks an riv bricks ya prob gettin all ya money in anyway i dont mind jamming the flop cos ya out of position. as said before ya call his r, an he has had like 10j an chk turn ya giving free cards an if ya call an turn bricks what ya gonna do lead anyway to protect.

with so few hands beating you based on qq, an kk 3 betting pre i dont mind jamming early on plus early on is when play is most unpredicatible if hes doing something crazy make him pay dont let him catch up an then stack off.

if hes got 88 its a cooler
