1- i typically bet the flop. turn... i guess he's repping what, kq, jt? i would imagine he bets AQ on the flop. meh.

2- okay i guess...i dont really like all this utg raising and checking flops. its okay sometimes but i prefer betting the flop in most cases. checking leaves you in a really awkward spot for the rest of the hand and you wont know if you're bluff catching or getting taken to value town.

fold pf. The entire hand plays differently from there.

Open Ax And Axs in later position.

Well its the same hand its just how do you play it based on if certain events happen.

Orange,

Given that i'm preflop raiser, against a LAG or loose player I bet whenever I hit top pair regardless of kicker; should i be doing this against TAG's as well? Its just against these type of players I usually can't get them to call with worse unless there is a draw on board.

Eh? It should be the opposite right? I would check vs. lags and loose players and probably bet vs. tags and calling stations.

pf is a little loose IMO but whatevers, thats not what you want to hear. I like the flop checks, I think they are a good way of getting value when your kicker sucks balls. First hand I prob fold the turn and second I know I'm a fool for saying this but my hand readng alarms are just screaming trip Kings because of the bet size or something.

Orange could you explain why you'd do this? I figure LAGS,loose players and stations call loosely whereas TAGS fold everything that I'm ahead of.

lags will call yeah, but they'll also bet a wider range. you can't really go wrong with either i dont think (betting v. both tags and lags). i think i would prefer checking to lags though, those who will bet flop/turn with KQ and stuff like that) (not on this specific board though, just on AKxx boards).

tags won't typically bluffraise and such on these types of boards, so while you might not be gaining a tremendous amount of value vs. tags, i still think betting is better. if a tag is overly aggro you could start checking to him and see how he handles it. alot of players will bet atc if checked to, so yeah, i mean, checking can work. just sucks on later streets.
