Does baluga count for minraises?
villain was 25/5/1 after 100 hands or so, I have trouble getting away from this turn. easy fold?

Just think what a minraise is, why and when a villain uses it.

There is nothing absolute about the Baluga theorem...just a tendency that you are behind with one pair.
In this case you are still ahead some % of the time and will remain behind a certain % of the time. The interesting features are that the turn leaves you with 6 outs (good) and villain is passive (bad) and its only a near-minraise (good in terms of odds but potentially bad in terms of villain's range). Given villain is passive I'd say you are behind here the majority of the time and possibly the vast majority of the time. Folding here is going to be fine. Calling probably requires a read that he'll check the river when ahead or gets out of line in this situation. |
