Default Range of hands and folding equity

Lets say you were with a 40% chance to catch up on the next street to be, for sake of arguement even money on the next street with a hand against your opponents range of hands 'if he calls', yet also you have a 20% chance of him not having that range and therefore forced to fold?

oh yeah forgot the pot sizes - if a bring in on razz had 50c and checked and you bet $1 - is that a profitable decision.
