i didnt think he would call preflop with a SC, so after he called the flop i put him on a low PP, i know he will reraise preflop with QQ+ because he's reraised me with QQ before. i had been playing tight and not getting out of line.

Seems fine. I think he'd call this flop with lots of hands that he just gives up with facing a turn bet.
