Default $11 - Ugly ITM hand

PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em Tourney, Big Blind is t200 (3 handed) FTR converter on zerodivide.cx

SB (t3762)
Hero (t6179)
Button (t3559)

Preflop: Hero is BB with 8[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], Q[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img].
Button raises to t400</font>, SB calls t300, Hero calls t200.

Flop: (t1200) 8[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], T[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], 7[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (3 players)</font>
SB checks, Hero checks, Button bets t600</font>, SB calls t600, Hero calls t600.

Turn: (t3000) 5[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (3 players)</font>
SB checks, Hero checks, Button checks.

River: (t3000) A[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (3 players)</font>
SB checks, Hero checks, Button bets t800</font>, SB calls t800, Hero folds.

Button's VP$IP is crazy high, with a mix of limps, minraises, and other raises. He's pretty passive post flop but is attached to the call button. SB hasn't done anything yet to make me point and laugh at him.

I didn't think this was a pf fold given the minraise from a loose player. I really don't know how I shoulda played it, though. Interested in your opinions.

What about leading the flop?

I don't like leading the flop because the likelihood of them both folding to a flop bet is pretty dim. It's far more likely I'll bet, get called by one or more, and have no idea what to do on later streets. Maybe I'm wrong. If you did get called, where would you go from there? Any other line ideas out there?

Fold on the flop. Why get involved when so many players love to play any hand with a ten in it and you are behind? I just think you could pick a better spot to make a move. Who knows maybe they will donk each other out on this hand and you move up in the money by sitting this one out

pf = ok
flop = eww. i fire 600 on the flop, get multi-called, and then checkfold.

why would you call unless you were dominating or expecting to improve?

It's ugly, but I don't think you played it that bad. Your flop call closed the action and for all you know, you're ahead at that point with a great chance to improve. You got a free river card, it looked pretty bleak at that point, so you cut your losses. No harm no foul.

I would've played it as you did.

Both betting out and folding to the flop bet are reasonable alternatives.

The call preflop is fine.
I'm not calling the flop bet. To many hands that get minraised by the button have a 10. You'll see J10, Q10, K10 maybe A10 a lot here I think
