Help with FT rakeback calculations
I'm unsure of how my rakeback on Full Tilt is calculated. I was going to email my affiliate but I thought I'd bring it up here instead in case anyone else was wondering the same thing.
FT calculates each person's rake by taking the total amount of rake in a hand and dividing it by the total number of players in the hand. Then, for every dollar paid in rake, you get 1 FTP. So it should work out that your total number of FTPs is equal to the total number of dollars of rake that has been paid in all the hands you have played. OK so an example: if you have 200 FTPs, that means in all the hands you have played, $200 has been raked. So if you've been playing at full 9-person tables the whole time, 200/9 = $22.22. Then assuming you have the 27% rakeback, your rakeback for the month would be $22.22 x .27 = $6 Is that all correct? Thanks. |

Re: Help with FT rakeback calculations
Your affiliate (or an affiliate) could probably answer this better, but I believe that Full Tilt only counts the money that you put into rake towards your MGR, and it's the MGR that your rakeback is paid based on. Or in other words, if there's a pot at your table which is raked for $3, but you folded preflop, you would earn the 3 FTPs for the pot but it would not be counted toward your MGR (as you didn't contribute to the pot or rake).
I do know that Full Tilt deducts everything from your MGR--bonuses paid, points redeemed in the Full Tilt store, even any tournament that you enter which offers an overlay (the paid prize pool does not meet the guarantee amount). |

From my experience and my PT data, that is correct Myrtle.

[/ QUOTE ] According to my affiliate, the opposite is true. Rake at FT is calculated on a dealt basis. If you fold preflop, you still get a piece of whatever rake is taken from the pot. |
