Please forgive my ignorance, but, when playing multiple tables (>2), how does one keep track of opponents betting patterns and other tendencies? Is this where tracking software comes in?

![]() Tracking software with a HUD (Heads up Display) of a players stats helps. Also, if you play long enough you just get a "feel" because you've been in almost every conceivable situation many times before. Lucky |

If you plan to multi-table it might be a good idea to start with just one table and get a feel for that table before opening more tables. Then you wont have to watch what goes on at that table as carefully. Naturally when you play several tables you wont pick up as much information.
You wont maximize your profit though playing only one table even if you will play your absolute best game at that particular table. Most serious multi-tablers use tracking software like Pokertracker with PokerAce HUD. You can download free trialversions of both applications. good luck |

Basically, try and make efficient use of the player notes' function. HUDs help, but don't let it replace your regular player observation and hand-reading, or you will have a very hard time improving your game. |
