There Once Was a Mod From Vancouver, Pt. 1: Limit: Serious Business

i was in the process of uploading pt 4 of the grimstarr series when i looked at it and thought it was garbage, so i deleted it. the grim series will be on hiatus until i can properly conclude it.

in the meantime, i present my 3rd photoshop comic series, "There Once Was a Mod From Vancouver"

there once was a mod from vancouver, his name was zachary wolfe.

zach was a huge hockey fan



he loved chinese history



and he LOVED karaoke. i mean LOVED (view both before moving on)

but what he loved more than anything was poker. specifically limit. zach was one of those classic poo-flingers, except he wasn't very good at it at all.

still, this world of limit had one great enemy, the man they call HIV. nobody could beat him. nobody except zach. HIV had only been bested once in his entire life and it was in a high variance 5 BI downswing to zach. word quickly spread, and one day he recieved a popup on his screen from something called "sklansky."


zach was confounded.

he was watching tv the next day when he heard a banging on the door. he opened it and suddenly everything went black. when he awoke he was bound and in the presence of HIV.





zach screamed and screamed at the notion of losing his hand. but then he woke up.

that night zach went outside and saw the most beautiful woman he had ever seen. it got even better when she flashed him. it was then that zach noticed something...


...the white rabbit.

zach did what any normal 22 year old man would do, he followed this running half-naked woman through the back alleys of vancouver.

she entered the house and as he entered he saw a man sitting down on a chair. he introduced himself as "sklansky."



zach took the red pill. gildwulf was born.

sklansky explained the story of "the one." a man who would come along and destroy the evil HIV once and for all. while sklansky knew gildwulf wasn't a great limit player, he knew he was the only one who ever has, and maybe ever will again defeat HIV.

sklansky trained gildwulf rigourously.



gildwulf was getting better. but he needed to get a whole lot better than he was, for waiting for him was a great evil...

I'll give this a solid B-.

I really never had a good "LOL" or even a "HAH!". Good storyline, it needed to be longer this time, felt rushed.
