BB/100 question
Hey,
What exactly does BB/100 mean when playing NLHE? What makes a "big bet"? Thanks. |

Re: BB/100 question
1 Big bet = 2 big blinds . Which is a term commonly used in limit hold em .
So a player who wins 10 big blinds /100 hands also wins 5 big bets/100 hands . |

Re: BB/100 question
What is considered acceptable or average for a winning player? After 18,000 hands @ .25NL, I'm up at about 4/100. Was at 6.5/100 at 15,000 hands but since have suffered some really bad beats, a downswing where everytime I seem to get AK I lose and every QQ sees KK and KK sees AA. Oh, and honestly, just a little bit of tilt....
Thanks Wheat/"/"/" |

Re: BB/100 question
It's unclear to me if you mean big blinds or big bets. Either way you are doing very well; you can be thrilled with anything above zero.
I assume you mean big blinds per 100 hands. At that level, I believe that 10-12 BB/100 is considered expert play, and anything above that is very difficult to sustain long-term. 6.5 BB/100 is pretty good; 4 BB/100 is fine. If you mean big bets, you're doing great. |

Re: BB/100 question
How about BB/100 for LHE? I am running 1.4BB/100, at 9500 hds. Stakes I'm playing is .25/.50
