100NL river push ok?
Live 100NL with passive preflop.
BB(villain) ($200) UTG(hero) ($450 chip leader) UTG+1 ($400) Preflop: I limp UTG with 5 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]3 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], UTG+1 limps, MP1 limps, SB completes, BB checks Flop ($10): J [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 5 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 2 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] checks to me, I bet $15, UTG+1 calls, BB calls Turn ($55): A [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] BB checks, I bet $30, UTG+1 folds, BB calls. River ($115): 5 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] BB bets $35, I push I got lucky obviously and my preflop play is questionable. But I felt I had a good read on the whole table. What do you think of river play? |

Re: 100NL river push ok?
preflop is pretty gross champ.

Re: 100NL river push ok?
thanks for everyone's input. this confirms what i thought (nonstandard preflop and standard flop).
the only thing i'll add is that, i do not recommend playing trash hands like this OP except when effective stack sizes are large and preflop play is passive. this is a live 100NL game, so think back to when you guys were playing 25NL... couldn't you pretty much win with ATC? |
