Default 25NL Playing 53; don\'t worry it is sooted!

BB is very passive. A few hands ago he open limped QQ; minraised on an 855 flop, bet the turn weak and checked behind a river A.

BTN is 50/15/2. Haven't seen him 3bet yet; he usually bets the flop small and check/calls down marginal hands. (He had K8 vs the other guy in the 855 hand, which he called down with).

Poker Stars - No Limit Hold'em Cash Game - $0.10/$0.25 Blinds - 6 Players - (LegoPoker HH Converter)

Hero (SB): $28.20
BB: $14.95
UTG: $32.55
MP: $14.55
CO: $13.90
BTN: $22.40

Preflop: Hero is dealt 3[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 5[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (6 Players)
UTG folds, MP calls $0.25, CO calls $0.25, BTN calls $0.25, Hero calls $0.15, BB checks

Flop: ($1.25) 3[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 9[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 3[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (5 Players)
<font color="red">Hero bets $0.95</font>, <font color="red">BB raises to $1.90</font>, 2 folds, <font color="red">BTN raises to $8.00</font>, Hero?

I almost never complete this pf, but this time I think it is okay with all these people in the pot.

Flop is good for me, BB's raise doesn't scare me at all; I put him on a 9 or maybe another overpair. I'm not sure what BTN's huge raise looks like though. Would 99 play this way? A3? A pocket pair? A flush draw? 9x?

What is our plan for the hand here?

Maybe I should have just folded pf

uhh, i think this is a pretty easy fold, doesnt someone like always have A3/99 here??? Also button has a VPIP of 50...i see alot of 3's with better than 5 kickers in this range. I vote fold, sucks if u had him beat and he was pushing some crap A9 or flushdraw.

Easy fold - Button would raise most overpairs here PF and I thinks its a stretch to put him on a 9. If he aint got the other 3, then BB could

I know this might seem a bad ploy but I like playing hands like this, this way. Don't push over the top or reraise him on the flop. If he has an overpair you want him to bet it 3 times. If he has a 9 you don't want to scare him off.

I play it bet/call, check/call, check/raise. I might only call on the river depending on how the hand pans out (ie 2 more flush cards come).
