Default Nice flop for JJ. Now what?

Stacks
Me: 1000
MP1: 750
CO: 2500

Level 3, blinds 15/30. I'm SB with JJ. 4 limpers, I raise to 165, MP1 and CO call. Pot=585.

Flop: 4 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 4 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 6 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img].

1) Should I just push the flop?
2)Do I open push and try to take it down now, and if I'm really lucky get a call from 77-TT? Or should I lead weaker to encourage a raise by a smaller pp, or a call from a chaser with 2 big cards?

I would raise a little more preflop like 180 or 200, you are OOP + bunch of limpers. I think many would even advocate a shove here (because you are getting called by worse hands). I would just make a normal raise though, somewhat lower variance. This is a supergreat flop for you, you are either far ahead our drawing dead; you should squeeze out of the maximum of the villains when you are ahead and obvious if you are dead so be it. I like to bet around 275 here that should give them a chance to stick around, leaving you with 660 behind to push on the turn if no scared card comes, in that case you have to reevaluate. Of course if someone shoves I'm allin.

Lead for 350 - if they are not too bright, they might think you are leaving yourself room to fold. Just make sure you don't fold to a raise.

4 limpers ==> I'd rather raise more preflop then if something similar happens it's an easy shove.

As played YHIG on that flop, doubt it matters whether you make a lead of 400ish or just shove, I think villian(s) get the chips in with the same range against either option...checking isn't an option since free cards can kill ya

Lead some amount that doesnt let them draw to overcards, but gives them the illusion that they can/should shove a worse hand
