this is ok, but bet/folding the turn is sometimes better depending on how loosely the villain peels flops because he should be folding a lot of hands that have a fair amount of equity against you (QJ/QT/JT) and even some better hands that called the flop to see what you'd do on the turn. he's never folding an ace though.

Looks OK. You could b/f on the turn, but checking through is IMHO fine. Call the river if he bets. $0.02

Isn't this a fold if villain bets the river? We're only getting 5.5:1 and every legitimate preflop raising hand I can think of is ahead of us (AA, KK, QQ, JJ, TT, 88, Ax, Kx) apart from chopping with 99; or do we call hoping for, what, 77, QJ/...?

I always struggle in this situation too. I think it's a difficult situation to be in.

I think preflop from SB is good against the TAG/LAG.

I think the flop bet is good.

Turn and river seem okay. I would have probably bet-folded the turn.

With all the checking and calling going on here I wouldn't be surprised if his PFR was FOS. What about 22-77 and T9s or JTs? I'm not expecting to win, but he sure doesn't seem to have an A, a K, or QQ, so I'd look him up.

You're right the pot might not be big enough. Enh.

I may be saying this becuase I saw villian check river but I think I would bet the turn again. He might easily call the river with a hand with a straight draw or something more ragged, so bet it again. The only thing he'll likely call you with at this point is an A unless he is really committed to the slowplay...most likely he'll raise a K or 88 and just fold anything else. If he raises I'm folding.
