Re: Trips facing river shove
Its been a while since I've played 10/20, but the first hand is not standard.
In the second hand, it could be a block with KQ/KJ I guess, I'd have a hard time folding without any reads. |

Re: Trips facing river shove
Hand 1 is a super easy fold.
Hand 2, I call river. |

Is first really a muck?

Re: Trips facing river shove
I call here all day. This could be a bluff certainly, or even worse K that didn't wann alose value by c/rai on turn vs a bluff or nething. If he backdoored spades, so be it. I can't expect him to have a FH here because you see tha the plays very strong hands very strong (as with massive overshove preflop with the AA).

[/ QUOTE ] It can't be a blocker cos it's a shove...but it definitely could be a value bet from a worse hand, or some random bluff. The shove in the first hand + his stack size in same means he's probably not very good. I would happily call here, I think we're well ahead of his range. |

Re: Trips facing river shove
hand 1) very far from standard. why would you risk 150bb's when you only have 70 invested. doesnt make any sense.
2) pretty easy call. |

Re: Trips facing river shove
2 is instacall. 1 I would fold unless he has been pushing semi regularly
