I Flop a straight on montone board. River decision? (200NL 6max)
Villain is a total unknown. I have no datamined stats on him, so he is not a regular. This is only the 3rd hand at the table.
Full Tilt Poker - No Limit Hold'em Cash Game - $1/$2 Blinds - 5 Players - (LegoPoker HH Converter) SB: $193.65 BB: $59.00 UTG: $231.05 CO: $232.00 Hero (BTN): $200.00 Preflop: Hero is dealt J[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] K[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (5 Players) UTG calls $2.00, CO folds, <font color="red">Hero raises to $9.00</font>, 2 folds, UTG calls $7.00 Flop: ($21) A[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] T[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] Q[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (2 Players) UTG checks, <font color="red">Hero bets $12.00</font>, UTG calls $12.00 Turn: ($45) 8[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (2 Players) UTG checks, <font color="red">Hero bets $30.00</font>, UTG calls $30.00 River: ($105) 7[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (2 Players) <font color="red">UTG bets $116.00</font>, Hero ?????? Do I call this? He could have the flush obviously, but he could also have a busted draw (High heart plus a pair maybe?), two pair, etc... |

I don't see any logic for a fold here. If he as the flush, type in 'nh'. I think in the long run a call here is +EV, you will see a flush < you will see busted draw, two pair, set, etc.

Re: I Flop a straight on montone board. River decision? (200NL 6max)
Ok, thanks. That is what I was thinking.
BTW, f*kcer had K[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 5[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] I need to start playing all my suited hands. They flop flushes all the time, right? (Note: Yes, this is a thinly veiled bad beat post) |
