Folds? Any reads? There's a lot of draws he could be on, and you've got a very reasonable chance of being ahead here, but you're very likely to get owned out of position. If he's passive, then he's more likely to have you beat, but if he's aggressive he's more likely to make the hand more uncomfortable on the turn or river.

He stacked off a few hands later with 62s on a monotone flop. when he and his opponent both had a checking war all the way to the river trying to trap the other guy. His opponent had AJs Our guy overbet the pot 3x on the river and then got put the rest of the way in by the nuts.

I thought my only play OOP like that was RR/AI with the KQ? I didn't feel like it was a smart play given I didn't even have top kicker.

In that case I think you played this hand horribly. You should have flopped the nuts and let him pay you. But seriously, folding here is fine.

I was reading a post in MSNL about reading hands and it said they always have JT. If JT makes the nuts someone has it. I thought it was kind of funny.

Reads would really help. So far as JT is concerned, if there was a QJ shaped hole they would say it was QJ. Point being that if you had a read you could evaluate whether the guy was stupid enough to cold call with these kinds of hands.

I think you correctly identified your choices and fwiw without reads I fold too.

Their joke was villain always has JT when it makes the nuts. I thought it was funny because it fit this hand.
