Default 50/100 HU spot, somewhat boring hand

Villain is Dennis Gyllner. He's much tighter than most preflop but plays pretty well postflop. I have been playing pretty aggro, have been caught bluffing a few times, but nothing crazy. Also, I think given the way the match was playing out, he would c/r JT very frequently on the flop.

FullTiltPoker Game #2545394338: Table Janell (heads up) - $50/$100 - No Limit Hold'em - 17:08:13 ET - 2007/05/30
Seat 1: whitelime ($11,200)
Seat 2: Dennis Gyllner ($21,221)
whitelime posts the small blind of $50
Dennis Gyllner posts the big blind of $100
The button is in seat #1

I dont see how you could not call this, especially given your read

He can only have the 10 with an additional spade. It must be a call but level stacks could argue for a fold since for the most part you're calling for a split with him freerolling.

Meh he might just have a draw...It's a toughie

P.S He might have 10J - There I've covered all bases.

You need 41% equity. You have 39.77% equity vs AsTs and 36.36% equity vs QsTs, but if you put a bunch of other tens in his range you're doing good.

It's a clear call if he doens't have JT here often and a fold if he'd play JT like this, I think.

Tks for the math. I was too lazy to do this but I was pretty sure it was close.

9000 back to you to win 2000. ugh.

he has at least the T[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] if he doesn't have JT. Doubt he's semi-bluffing here ever (haven't played with him though). If you're getting freerolled, the call is 2(.8)-9(.2)= -.2 very slightly -EV. If he's ever showing up with J10 here its instamuck.

Pretty [censored] spot. You may have to call but I probably just fold, assuming he has JT some of the time.

meh, seems like a freeroll much of the time, and occasionally you're smoked or drawing to a few chopping J's. i dont think a fold here is too bad if the math on freerolls is a little against you.

the simple sit out, call, run away from the monitor routine works fine

I think he has JT hardly ever given your flop read and the fact that he massively overshowes instead of making a smaller raise to make sure a lone ten doesn't get off the hook.
