NL50: Overpair on TT2 board against TAG
Full Tilt Poker, $0.25/$0.50 NL Hold'em Cash Game, 6 Players
LeggoPoker Hand History Converter UTG: $19.10 MP: $9.30 Hero (CO): $52.80 BTN: $57.40 SB: $45.75 BB: $55.20 21/17/2.8/22(105), Fold BB to Steal: 85 Pre-Flop: K[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] K[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] dealt to Hero (CO) 2 folds, <font color="red">Hero raises to $2</font>, 2 folds, BB calls $1.50 Flop: ($4.25) T[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] T[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 2[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (2 Players) BB checks, <font color="red">Hero bets $3.25</font>, <font color="red">BB raises to $9.50</font>, Hero calls $6.25 Turn: ($23.25) 2[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (2 Players) <font color="red">BB bets $14.50</font>, Hero calls $14.50 River: ($52.25) 5[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (2 Players) <font color="red">BB bets $29.20 and is All-In</font>, Hero calls $26.80 and is All-In The flop raise was kinda weird because the only hand in his range that hits this board is 22 since a guy with 85% fold bb to steal would probably fold hands like AT pre. So I decided to let him bluff if he has like a small pp or Ax...you like? |

Re: NL50: Overpair on TT2 board against TAG
Raise is obv. good
The bet here is fine. Doesn't look like there are that many hands in his range that have you beat, so the bet is good. The raise...there's a really limited range of hands he could have that have you beat (AA, AT, TT, 22..AA wouldn't he RR?), and your bet looks like a slightly big c-bet so he might have you down as a big A raising UTG, then c-betting the flop HU. So I think the raise is fine. I kind of have him down as PP here, more likely a medium-big one..at a guesstimate. He does seem to bet the turn and river aggressivley here, he's shown strength on every street which is worrying, but again I think the range of hands he'd call your UTG raise with and that have you beat is pretty limited...like AT maybe, but as you said not likely, 22 maybe. I'm still inclined to put him on a PP I guess, and the hands that have you beat are a small part of the range it looks like he'd play this way. So I think I call here. Running it through PS with a few different ranges again it looks like you're ahead here. Seems good to me. |
