Re: $16 2 tricky situations 99, AQs
1. check and fold to a substantial bet. Not much you can beat here
2. fold. UTG has you beat if he´s not a big donk. |

Re: $16 2 tricky situations 99, AQs
1. Is awkward, but check/fold has to be the best option.
2. Fold. I hate the preflop call. |

Re: $16 2 tricky situations 99, AQs
hand 1: I would check the turn, probably fold to a bet. Yous still have a decent stack after the fold for the blinds.
hand 2: I would fold to the turn bet, it's very unlikely that you will get to see a free showdown, and you have the worst position as well. I don't know about enough implied odds, since it's 22:1 to hit your 2 outer. No one has that much chips remaining. |

Re: $16 2 tricky situations 99, AQs
1. OK, I thought the same, so I check/folded when he moved in
2. I was not comfortable when I called out of position, so I understand why I should have folded..What if we are on the button or in the BB? |

Re: $16 2 tricky situations 99, AQs
With 99, your stack, and a caller before you, I like calling the 3x BB pre-flop raise here. But you're only playing 99 for set value here. Fold the turn.
