I make it 500 and call a shove.

I really suck at playing this postflop if the BTN calls and the flop misses tho. I'm shoving a lot of flops when I miss here.

Ugh, I suck at reading today, I missed the the UTG+1 limp. I still like reraising oop here tho. I think calling then c/f the flop is just too weak.

I just dont see the point in committing so many chips so early
No reason to reraise here, id rather see a flop

this is like my least favorite position ever.. if there was more money in the pot it's a definite shove, but stacks are too big for that and only t275 in the pot, agreed?

also i think i like hoya's line since we figure to be better than the field and better opportunities will arise?

*note: def didn't play it this way...

I just think calling and then checking a flop w/o an A or K will make us fold the best hand here quite a bit.

I get your point since it is still really early, but I think calling loses a lot of value tho.

I'd really like to get some other opinons here cause I could easily be swayed either way. I guess I'm lost on what to do here.

This hand is pissing me off cause I just moved up to the 16s and was all pumped about it, but now after not knowing what to do here I feel like I should move back down

dont worry about, it is a tricky spot. calling and pushing are both fine. i would make my decision based on a read of the button (push vs a lag, call vs a tighter player).
