I've been playing really straightforward TAG at this table. I decide on a whim to not 3b preflop. It's the first time I've done something "unconventional" in the whole time I've been at the table. Both villians are a little loose, UTG+1 the loosest of the two. A 5x hand is in his range here probably. Thoughts on preflop? Comments welcome on the rest as well. (Note stacks)

this seems like the worst flop to passively play an AK...
villan is going to shut down if he doesn't have a king, and if he does then you can bloat that pot and take him to valuetown |

I realise that you are playing this hand passively, due to not 3 betting pre flop, but after UTG+1 calls 18 did you not think about popping it up to 85??100?? something in that range.
Or because stacks are so large are you not interested in going down that route? As it stands the only hands you are afraid of are 55, KK, 77, AA, with no RR PF it looks like 5's or 7's, 5's could well flat call the 18 on the flop hoping you will come along. Though obviously it's highly unlikely. UTG's bet on flop could be a continuation bet. Recently i've been one for playing very passively on the river (probably wrongly so) but here with a hand such as 56 suited skanking you in such a hard way I dont see anything wrong with a call, but 30 into 140 seems very weak, unless 55 wants to get paid off you must surely be ahead, and can afford to raise, fold to a push (def 55/77?). |

Does anyone raise/call a shove? [/ QUOTE ] I don't think I can because, even with his donk river bet, 5x is firmly within his range. What would suck is I raise river and he pushes his AK... |

No draws to pay us off, so if we're raising we have to hope villain is retarded enough to call w/ like KQ. Just calling lets him bluff with whatever two cards he wants. |

i need to look at the HH closer..i didnt even see UTG+1. but that makes it all the more reason to raise this flop...your going to get called by worse kings, which UTG+1 most likely has. i'd want to build the pot asap.
