Default 3D Animation for the mentally challenged

Here's a You Tube clip of a 3D walking robot I made.

I've been playing w/ this free software for one day, and I've managed to make a (somewhat lame, I admit) walking robot.

What's amazing is I now have an actual robot "skeleton" w/ robot "flesh" that I can play w/ and change as I learn more.

You can also play around w/ camera angles etc.

Again, keep in mind that this is 1 day of playing around, so compare to Finding Nemo it's not good, but compare to putting a bunch of MS Paint drawings into a gif it is...

I used www.anim8or.com it's free, which I find super cool.

Here's the skeleton I "built", on top of which I added the red body and blue head:

This could get addicting.... 3D animation wars?

there use to be a student trial where they put a watermark in the background. I'm not positive if you can still download it from the site.

I took college courses in 3D animation and Maya is by far the best program,

But Maya is for high end Nemo type movies. which based on your models is a little far from your skill level...

Sorry
